Overview
To schedule a rebuild of your OnDemand environment, you will need to schedule a time with DNN Support to provide support in the areas of sandboxing, network/DNS changes and liquid content key changes.
Solution
As an OnDemand customer, you do not have access to the back-end to manually begin a rebuild of your site and you will need DNN Support to reach out to the SaaS team. Please follow the following steps:
- You will need to submit a ticket to DNN Support to begin the process. Please provide the device name this can be found if you go into Settings > Site Settings > Site Behaviour > Site Aliases and check the alias dnnxxxxx.evoqondemand.com. The device name should be dnnxxxxx.
- You will first need to request to DNN Support that a sandbox environment needs to be created which will be a 1:1 copy of the site. You can then work on the rebuild in this environment without compromising the production environment.
- You will also need to request a tenant copy of Liquid Content if you have built content already,
- After the rebuild has been completed on the sandbox device, we will need to update the Aliases and have you update the DNS records to point the production URLs to the sandbox device. You will need to provide us with a maintenance window for this step as this will cause a short outage in your production environment.
