What are the available DNN Authentication Providers in Evoq?

This article details the Authentication providers that are available in the Evoq product.

In Evoq, we allow you to utilize multiple authentication providers that will allow Evoq users to log into the environment. 

 

Evoq has two categories of authentication providers :

 

Default DNN Authentication provider

The DNN default authentication is the standard authentication provider in the Evoq product. This authentication is used when Evoq is first installed.

The extension can be found by going into Settings > Extensions > Installed Extensions > Authentication Systems.

You can edit this extension by clicking the pencil icon to access settings to disable this module or enable Captcha for each login request.

 

Third-party Authentication modules

There are a number of alternative implementations provided within the core and via 3rd parties that can be found by going into Settings > Extensions > Installed Extensions > Authentication Systems.

The following providers can be installed and enabled for the Evoq environment:

Authentication Provider Description
DNNPro_ActiveDirectoryAuthentication The DotNetNuke Active Directory Authentication Project is an Authentication provider for DotNetNuke that uses the Windows Active Directory authentication protocol to authenticate users.
DotNetNuke Facebook Authentication Project The DotNetNuke Facebook Authentication Project is an Authentication provider for DotNetNuke that uses Facebook authentication to authenticate users.
DotNetNuke Google Authentication Project The DotNetNuke Google Authentication Project is an Authentication provider for DotNetNuke that uses Google authentication to authenticate users.
DotNetNuke Live Authentication Project The DotNetNuke Live Authentication Project is an Authentication provider for DotNetNuke that uses Live authentication to authenticate users.
DotNetNuke Twitter Authentication Project The DotNetNuke Twitter Authentication Project is an Authentication provider for DotNetNuke that uses Twitter authentication to authenticate users.
