Overview
With localization, users can translate any text in the DNN functionality as they are stored in resource files. This article details how to access the resource file and change the text.
Prerequisites
- Enable Localization
- Access to an Administrator or SuperUser Account
Solution
- Go to Settings > Site Settings > Languages > Click on the language icon beside the preferred language.
- You should now be able to browse to any resource text file and translate the text to the preferred language.
- After making any translation changes, click on the Save Translations button.
Testing
You can test that the changes have been made by accessing the text for the Admin feature that you made a change in.
You can see in this example that I have changed the Persona Bar item "Content" to say "Test"
