Setting an Expiration Date for a Module

Overview

You may want to set a date to automatically expire a module. This article provides the steps to set an expiration date for a module and discontinue it after the set date.

Solution

If you want to automatically discontinue a module on a specific date, do the following:

1. Go to the module you would like to expire that is currently on a page.

2. Click the Edit icon ().

3. Click the Module Settings icon () for the specific module to be updated, then click Settings.
   
   
    

4. In the Module Settings tab, expand Advanced Settings and focus on the Start Date and End Date fields.

   • Start Date: Set a start date for this module. This module will only appear on the page on the defined date.

   • End Date: Set an end date for this module. This module will disappear from the page once the defined date has passed.
