Cannot upload file - DNN 8.5


When the user is trying to upload a file to the site, they are getting the following error message: 


DNN 8.5


This is a default behaviour in the DNN 8.5.0 installation, in order to fix this, you need to provide root access to the portal, this can be achieved by using the feature called Site Group, but take into consideration that the changes executed by a site cannot be reverted in regards to the user's single-on.

Note: In DNN version 9.2, this behaviour is not present, as CKEditor does not require access to the parent portal in order to upload the files, so an upgrade is also a good option.
