Cannot enter edit mode

Overview:

When the user is trying to access the Edit mode, this by clicking on the pencil icon and it does not take them into the Edit mode.

Solution:

Found the following code, in the 1st module of the site, which was causing the issue:

That code and several  <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> spacing code were conflicting with the HTML editor, by removing them it was all fixed. 

After removing the code, you just need to clear the cache, this in order to have the page working as expected.

Confirmation: 

If you try to open the edit mode, after the code removal, it will work as usual.
