Overview

Unable to select a page from the Parent Page drop-down from Page Settings. This can be accessed by going to Content > Pages.

Root Cause

This is a known defect in version 9.1.1. The Parent Page does not have any permissions set for All Users.

Workaround

NOTE: A fixed has been released for version 9.2. If upgrading is not possible, follow the workaround steps below:

1. Log in to your DNN instance with admin credentials.
2. Go to Content > Pages.
   
   

3. Click the name of the Parent Page from the left-hand page tree.
4. Go to Permissions and click to check View under All Users.
   
   

5. Scroll down and click Save.

Confirmation

Validate the workaround by attempting to place a child page under the parent. If successful, you will be able to select the Parent Page.

NOTE: You may revert the changes to the permissions done in step 4 for the Parent Page.
