Overview

A user wants to delete the site but they are unable to see the delete icon on it. The icon is missing from Manage > Sites. This article details how to troubleshoot if you cannot see the delete icon.

Diagnosis

There are two possibilities causing the delete icon missing;

• The portal that is being deleted belongs to a Site Group.
• The portal that the user wants to delete is the one they are visiting.
  • It's not possible to delete the portal you are visiting, therefore, please exit the portal and delete it from another existing portal.

Solution

• Remove the site you wanted to delete from the site group by following the steps in this article.

Testing

1. Log in as a SuperUser
2. Go to Manage > Sites
3. Delete the site
