When creating a group, you will need to define a group owner. This article will detail how to change the group owner from the initial owner.
- When a group is created, there is a RoleGroup as well that is created. This can be seen in Manage > Roles. The name of the group would be the name of the role.
- Go to the users in the role field and add the user that you want to be the owner or administrator. Please note that the user should already have the Administrator role enabled.
- Go to Settings > Servers > Clear Cache or refresh the group page for you to see the user as one of the administrators.
- Please note that for the new user to show on the group owner page, the current owner would need to be deleted from DNN.
