No page template available in DNN 8.2.0

Issue

Content editors, content managers, and administrators are unable to add new pages to their DNN site because there is no way to select a required element, Page Template.



Environment: DNN 8.2.0

Root Cause

This occurs when all page templates are missing. Administrators can avoid this problem by keeping the default DNN template file in its default location.

Resolution

1. Create a new template based on an existing page.
2. Add a new page to confirm that the new template is available to select.
