Recycling Application Pool

Overview:

There will be situations where you need to recycle the application pool, this is because some thread is overloaded or it is using a lot of memory, sometimes it is also required because something got cached and it is not getting freed, even after clearing the cache.

Step by step guide:

1. Open Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager.
2. In the Connections pane, expand the Server name, and then click Application Pools.
3. In the Application Pools pane, select the application pool you want to recycle.
4. Click Recycle... in the Actions pane.
