Editing the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use pages

Overview

The Terms of Use and Privacy Policies of your organization are subject to change for a variety of reasons and it's important that these changes are reflected on your site. These pages aren't edited in the page UI like other created pages so you will need to make the necessary changes via the admin panel. 

Audience: Self-service, Admin/SuperUser

Steps

1. With your SuperUser/Admin account, log in to your EVOQ instance and use the Persona Bar to select Settings > Site Settings.

2. On the Site Settings page click on Languages and then the Translate icon to the right of the admin cog.

3. Click on the Resource File drop-down menu and then click on the arrow to the left of Global Resources to expand that section. Select GlobalResources.

4. Search for the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use with the search strings "Privacy" and Terms" respectively. To validate that you have selected the correct resource, check the resource name against the following:

  • For Privacy Policy: MESSAGE_PORTAL_PRIVACY.Text
  • For Terms of Use: MESSAGE_PORTAL_TERMS.Text

5. Click on the pencil icon to open the text editor and make the necessary changes.

6. Once completed, click the Save button.

7. Validate your changes by going to the respective Privacy Policy and Terms of Use pages within your company's website.
