Overview
With versioning, you can store multiple versions of a page or an asset/file in the history and later restore an older version. Only the most recent versions are stored, and no more than the maximum number you specify.
In this article, you will learn how to enable Page/File versioning in your system.
Environment
- Evoq Content
- Evoq Engage
Prerequisites
You need a host/superuser account to be able to perform the steps outlined in this article. Hosts have full permissions to all sites in the DNN instance.
Process
-
First, enable page versioning or file versioning (or both) for each site as a host/superuser.
-
Next, enable file versioning for each asset folder (Page versioning does not require additional steps).
-
You can view, restore, compare (for Page versioning only), or delete a File/Page version as needed. Refer to the table below for the articles for the instructions.
