Process

DNN is an ASP.NET web application that you install on a Windows machine or VM. It consists of a root directory with files that are served by IIS and a database hosted on SQL Server to store information and configuration values.

The installation process is split into four steps that you should follow in the order presented.

1. Set up the DNN Folder and User Account.
2. Enable and Set up IIS.
3. Install and Set up SQL.
4. Run the DNN Installation Wizard.
